RDM Offroad & Ready Welder join forces at this year's Off-Road Expo in Pomona, CA!

Thats right! Ready Welder will be in the RDM Offroad booth at the Off-Road Expo answering questions and giving live demos of their portable battery powered MIG welder. Be sure to stop by and check it out!

Installation of Hanson Offroad's new 42" Rock Crawler Bumper and a Ramsey Patriot 9500UT Winch on our 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.

It was at the spring Off-Road Expo in Pomona, Ca that I met up with Richard Ward of Hanson Offroad an saw their newest bumper, the 42" Rock Crawler. Up to that point I was still undecided on which bumper to go with to complete the Jeep. I had already installed Hanson's rear bumper/tire carrier combo and rock sliders on the LJ and was completely impressed with the build quality and strength of their products. This along with the new bumper design that immediately got my attention is what made my decision an easy one.
For the winch, I chose Ramsey's Patriot 9500UT. The UT is the first and only winch with a semi-automatic clutch. What this means to the user is a much more pleasant winching experience. With a flip of the switch the clutch disengages allowing you to pull the line out and secure it to an anchor point. From there you have the choice of using the included wireless remote or the standard wired control to begin the extraction. We are pleased to announce the addition of Hanson Offroad to our product line. Hanson Offroad produces one of the strongest, well built, and best looking bumpers on the market. I met up with Richard Ward of Hanson Offroad at the Off Road Expo in Pomona, Ca this spring and was pleased to see that they are continually looking to bring new designs to the market and even improving on their existing products. One of the new products that caught my eye was the new "Stubby" front bumper for the TJ. This new bumper is designed to take whatever you can throw at it. It accepts all major winch applications with no need for an add-on winch plate. We will be installing one of the 1st pre-preduction "Stubby" TJ bumpers on our 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and testing it at the Jeep Jamboree in Big Bear, Ca this weekend. We have a small selection of Ramsey winches available on the site and will soon be adding the full line-up. Also, stay tuned for an installation and product review of the Ramsey Patriot 9500UT winch as we install one on our 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and test it at the Jeep Jamboree this weekend in Big Bear, Ca.
